My special lily Anne has past over , was so quick she was only 2years 5months old Friday morning she seemed ok came home from shops Friday night and gave them there evening veggies we have three , and lily would not come out of her house . Visit to vet and baytril given 2.15 today she struggled for breath and died . God bless you lily Anne you were a lovely pet she will be buried with lily who died 2 years ago

I'm so sorry to hear this. RIP little one
 
I am ever so sorry for your loss! Sadly, acute heart failure can happen to guinea pigs of all ages; I have lost two young ones of my own.

PS: It is thankfully very rare, but sadly a troll managed to get through our defences. They have now been banned and all their posts deleted. I have also deleted your answering post.
It is always very upsetting, epsecially when this happens in this section, and I want to apologise on behalf of the forum admin and mods.
 
That's so sad to read @Aliciatatiana . Sometimes there's nothing at all that we of vets can do for our little ones. I too have had a young piggy die suddenly and it is so so sad.
She was obviously very much loved.

I'm so sorry that you have lost your piggie @Aliciatatiana. It's heartbreaking to lose a treasured member of the family and so suddenly. Hugs to you and your family. Popcorn fee LilyAnne.

I'm also sorry that you were initially affected by the troll who spammed the forum. That sort of behaviour is never acceptable and never more so when a member is posting about the loss of a piggy xx

I'm sorry for your loss, it's really hard when they leave while still young and such in a sudden way. Big big hugs to you..
