Hi Everyone!

My baby Oscar started limping last week and just sitting in the corner of the cage. We took him to the vet who gave him an injection of Carprieve and instructions to bring him back early this week. He perked up and was hopping around his cage happily for a few days. Sunday & Yesterday he was just back to his corner :( so I made him an appointment to go to the vet this morning.

I feel like such a bad pig owner as last night he must have just wee'd all over himself as his legs were wet this morning when I got him out to take him to the vet, until then he had still been hobbling over to 'wee corner' to do his business.

He's staying in for an X-Ray today and I'm so worried about him having the anaesthetic. He's 1year & 2months old but he's so tiny - he only weighs about 950g. He has been eating and drinking as normal (if not more as I've been spoiling him a bit...), he just doesn't like moving around much.

I think at this point I'm just after some good vibes for him, or maybe thoughts as to what it could be? The vet last week said it didn't feel broken but I imagine it's hard to tell from feel.

This is the little heartbreaker having a kip on my knee after demolishing some pepper...

Poor boy! It is not rare that if there is a strain somewhere that a piggy aggravates it again with an injudious movement. It's certainly happened to some of my piggies. Fingers crossed that it is just that again!
