Oh so sorry to hear about your loss x what a handsome boy he was xView attachment 70655 so sad to lose you my little man and only eleven months old. I hope you know how much you were loved sleep tight Limpy xxxxxx
no idea. he was not eating much last week so took him to vets and vet thought he may be getting bullied at mealtimes as Bubbles the other male is overweight and limpy had lost some. I fed separately up until the other morning when I found him , it was such a shock as he was so young. I also have two girls aged 6 sisters, one of them louby lou, has an inoperable tumour and iv been so worried about her I wonder if I may have missed some other indications he was poorly, cant help but think I missed something. that's my gorgeous girlies on my profile pic! my latest addition is another sow called Scooby who I had hoped would bond with the older two but that has not worked so I'm now thinking of getting Bubbles neutered and trying to pair up the two of them. Scooby likes Bubbles but I cant tell yet if he feels the same as I cant let him get too close just yet! we will have to see xOh I'm so sorry! Do you know why?
Don't beat yourself up about thinking you'd missed something. We all do that when we're trying to look after a sick piggie then something happens to one of the others. I had 2 sick piggies at Christmas and busy syringe feeding them etc then my beautiful rabbit called Shadow didn't finish his breakfast, checked him over thoroughly, fetched him some garden grass which he ate. Then, in the morning he was dead! I was the same as you, riddled with guilt. Unfortunately little furries do tend to suddenly leave us.no idea. he was not eating much last week so took him to vets and vet thought he may be getting bullied at mealtimes as Bubbles the other male is overweight and limpy had lost some. Hopefully, Bubbles will become a Husboar once he's neutered!
