Hi Everyone.
I am new to this and saw that some one a while ago posted how to make your own liners, this was great but the pics didn't want to come up, the thread has closed so cant ask the person any questions, Does any one have a tutorial on this please?
Thanks in advance. x

I make my own liners.. I basically get the fleece ( one pattern for the top and usually a plain for the bottom ) I actually use incontinence pads/bed but you can use towels or 100% cotton mattress protectors.. so easy to make.. i can add more details tomorrow...

Hi Artcasper
Just wondering if you were able to tell me the instructions you use for the liners please x

as I am not able to sew I use fleece as a bedlinen and it covers the underneath layer of newspapers which works as the absorbent layer. Once a day I put the fleece outside to have some cool air and I remove the wet spots of the paper...
(actually I am using leaflets from supermarket, not newspapers; it is the same)
Under these layers I put some old towel but only for keeping soft and more comfortable the floor for the piggies' feet. Towels ramain dry and clean.

ok - here goes - hope you can make sense of this - if not YOU TUBE has lots of tutorials ...

Cut your fabric to size - I use a patterned fleece - TOP LAYER Plain Fleece - BOTTOM LAYER and ABSORBANT layer

When you have got your fabric pieces, 1 of each , I lay them onto the table in the following order :

Table
Bottom Fleece
Top Fleece - with your pattern facing up to you - right side up i call it
Absorbant layer

pin together then sew all the way round - LEAVING A GAP on one side about 20cm ( depends how big your liner is ) (this gap needs to be big enough to pull the whole liner through once sewn up )

Once sewn all the way round, trim off any excess fabric and corners.. Then put your hand in the gap and pull the liner all the way through so it is the right way round.

tuck the gap fabric in and sew up that hole....

all done

does that make sense ??

next time i make one i will take photos ..
