My guinea pig recently sustained a pretty nasty cut on his nose (long story short another one escaped while I was at work and got in his pen). I've cleaned it out with saline and warm water, and his cage is clean and i reinforced the cages, but I've been suggested to use liquid bandage, was just curious if it's safe for piggies. I don't have any right now, I just want to prevent infection as best as I can.

I’m sorry to hear that.

Has this piggy been seen by a vet?
We can only suggest that vet care is sought as an injury caused by another piggy can require antibiotics and painkillers.

I hope he is ok

He has not. We only discovered this a few hours ago. He's snippy and is obviously in pain but he's been given ibuprofen. He's still eating. I'll be home to monitor him to tomorrow but I can't take him to a vet for a few days. I will be flushing it gently for a few days til the wound closes

Ibuprofen is not ideal to be given to guinea pigs.

Keep the wound clean with saline and do see the vet as soon as you can.
