Junior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone
really puzzled as to what's happening to our boar: he's had soft poop for over a month now after being on various medications for months (from baytrill, nurofen, anti-fungal antibiotics, metacam and calprofen). Now he's fine, back to his active normal self except his poop looks like cow's cakes
his diet hasn't changed and he's also getting bio-lapis a couple of times a day with water from a syringe, occasionally some pro- c on his food as well. Since his liquid poop problems we gave him medicinal charcoal as Vedra advised, but that didn't help either and it's been at least a month of "charcoaling" him. His all food has been very carefully selected specially for him and didn't change for ages.
I'm worried too many nutrients leave his system before it's absorbed.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
