They eat bell peppers every day, very low calcium diet as one had bladder stone surgery. I just want to make sure they both have enough vit C xx

With a good vit c diet, they shouldn’t need extra supplements. I think I saw a post from wiebke the other day that feeding too high a diet in vit c can also have its downsides - if they are fed a high vit c diet and then it gets reduced for some reason then they can still get scurvy because of the reduction even though they still have higher levels.

Now I'm confused with this as I watched a video from L.A. guinea pig rescue yesterday, and they said you can give children's vitamin C liquid once a day and anything that isn't needed and doesn't get absorbed just passes through with their pee?

That vid is exactly the reason I'm asking about vit c, the liquid they use has different ingredients here in the UK so I'm looking for an alternative :)

They don't get spinach or kale at all and my vet said to avoid vetark as very sugary, I'm following the special care needs diet that I found on this site and giving support tabs but I worry about vit c :(
