Since my special interest topic is stress and anxiety in guinea pigs, I have been following their work for years.
You just have to bear in mind that the research is conducted on unneutered guinea pigs, depending on the research topic, living in really large mixsex groups. So I don't think that everything can be transferred to our pet guinea pigs and their living conditions 1:1.
