Litter training piggies

I'm in the process of litter training my piggies as they make a mess of their hutch so fast I think it's safe to say "so far so good!" (Touch wood) They seem to be peeing in the corner litter tray and there's a few poos in there too The ones that I find in the rest of their hutch I just pick up and put in the tray so that they get used to that being where their poos go. In the litter tray I put newspaper down, covered in wood shavings and excel herbage hay on top, they love sitting in their to nom on their hay and then they end up doing their business there. :red

Anyone else successfully litter trained their pigs? I'm guessing pigs on fleece are trained? Reason being, fleece stinks when it has piggy pee on it! mallethead

Sort of litter trained the boys!

They poop and pee in their sawdust litter trays...one under the hutch in the far corner, one in the hutch bottom and now they have seem to took to pooping not on the vetbed but the lip where the vetbed ends and the hutch door starts, so when i open the hutch top door in the morning poop falls out.....lol! Least the vetbed doesnt need sweeping i guess!

But sometimes i do find the odd poop here and there
