hi any tips for successfully litter training maxwell? his litter tray is in the corner of his cage and I'm hoping to get him to do his business in there, its been in a few days now and hes not tried it yet, ive put some of his droppins in there for encouragement but not workin yet!

What have you got in your litter tray? I use megazorb and hay. They sit in the hay eating it and so do a lot of poop in there. My girls do mostly use it for wees (I'm fairly lucky with this though) but guinea pigs will usually poop where they please. :(|)

Update on the litter training! Maxwell is doing very well and is using his litter tray but ive noticed hes still doin a few poos in another corner too, hopefully soon he will start just doin it in his tray!

I have discovered that if I clean the hay areas (AKA toilets) every couple of days, then they do most of their wet business in there. Guineas are very tidy creatures, I do think they like their toilets to be clean, and if they're not they start doing it in other areas! Poos however are like guinea stars, there are glistening ones appearing every minute. :))
