hi there ive looked at pets at home and i cant find any guinea pig litter trays i only want them so i can put hay in so it stays fresh rather than chucking it in the hutch and it getting soiled ive looked on ebay but for a bit of plastic they seem to be a bit on the expensive side I'm needing 3 of these and cant find any where if any one knows of a place then i would be very greatful for the info thanks

We use tesco value litter trays :)) Word of warning though - chances are it won't keep the hay clean, it'll just encourage them to poo on it IN the tray. We have a rack above the litter tray and that seems to be a hit.

Can you look in Ikea for flat plastic dishes/boxes?

hi there we got a metal hay rack from pets at ome that hooks on to the side of the cage but maurice bless him he always hauls it all done for jules heh :(|)

Jolleys has them cheap too, although i don't know how much x

Litter trays

Hi there
Looked up the link for Tesco but it doesn't have a picture, so not much use, £1.50 though, I use one of these in the bottom of my piggies wooden house, to keep the wood dry and it's much easier to clean out. It's about 30cm by 15cm. Hope this helps.

Wilkinsons do one at 30 x 41 cm for £1.49 or a smaller one 24 x 31 cm for less than that (but def. over £1). I have both.

Don't buy any hay while you are there though. Mine always eat other hay in preference to Wilko hay.

I bought this from the pound shop yesterday to try out for my piggies. Obviously it would only work if you have a top to your cage.

my pigs won't eat hay from their hay rack!
i use a small seed tray to put hay in
but as as been said, mine also use it to loo in - even though they have a separate toilet @)- and they still make a mess all over the floor with the hay!:))
