I was just wondering what the best veggies are to help put some weight on piggies?
I had cut them down to just getting veggies a few times a week as they were quite overweight.
I haven't been spending as much time with them as I would like as I got a puppy a few months ago and he takes up a lot of my time. Now that he's older this will all change and I'll go back to spending lots of time getting piggy cuddles :).
I had them out tonight and I just feel they are a little bit on the skinny side. Will just feeding them everyday again be enough? Or should I be focusing on certain vegetables? I've heard that carrots are really good for
Putting on weight. Are there any others? Any help would be great, thanks :).

Hi! Please feed your guinea pigs regularly daily anyway (guinea pigs have a very fast metabolism) and weigh them once weekly. They should make up any lost weight on a good regular diet. Just filling them up with empty calories will not help them or their long term health. Please have them vet checked to make sure that there is no medical reason for the weight loss.
