Hello Bruno....

Wow he is gorgeous! What breed is he? I have not seen a piggy like him.

Have you got a brush for him? If it is brushed daily the length matters less. They don't mind too much if you carefully snip pieces off here and there in any case. Nails are always a different matter! Daphne and Celeste, my baby girl piggies, seems to get sharp claws quite quickly, so I clip the tiny sharp ends as often as possible, particularly as Daphne has claws which curl significantly inwards. Maybe try doing the sharp tips on a couple of the longest to get a bit more used to it before diving in to do the lot?

Ill be honest I'm not actually too sure on either of their breeds ..... :(

Yes i do have a brush maybe ill try tomorrow with the brushing first see how he reacts to it .... hopefully i wont be peed on again :P haha

My piggies have waterproof lap pads (one for boys, one for girls) for this, but I have had the girls out on theirs before when Celeste got a bit fidgety and shuffled her bum around til it was sat on my arm (the rest of her still stood on the lap pad!) and promptly wee'd on my arm... When you've had them out a few times you get to know the signs a bit better though!

I got a couple of waterproof lap pads from Cavy Couture. They're just the right size for putting a guinea pig on and I haven't been wee'd on since using them for lap time. Both your guinea pigs are gorgeous by the way.

Bruno could be an alpaca - "long, curly hair that also parts down the spine, but grows in a forward direction over the face like the straight-haired 'peruvian'" (found on breeders website so won't post link). If you google alpaca guinea pigs some have similar fur to Bruno. Maybe he has some Aby in him too as some of his fur is rosetted! I hadn't heard of alpaca guinea pigs before I looked up a list of breeds.

He definitely needs regular brushing, maybe every couple of days. Pretty boy!

Bruno! What a handsome dude, Love his fur. Our first piggie Pitch (one on the left in our Avatar) was long haired she didn't really like been brushed however but got used to it - a good technique is to hold the fur close to the skin and then comb the other side of your finger so you don't pull the fur, oh and always give them some parsley or something they love to eat to distract them :)) Keep the bum fur cut short and it means you hardly ever get it matted with poo etc.. .round there. We'd brush Pitch every week and that would do the job to be honest.

I expect to see lots of photos and videos of him now, I will need a Bruno fix at least once a week I reckon :)
