Eriathwen
Senior Guinea Pig
I noticed this morning that little Edgaroo hadn't touched the bowl of food I had put in his cage last night, very unlike him. I already knew I would find him in his forever sleep at that point which sadly I did. I am grateful he seems to have gone in his sleep and hadn't suffered.
He was such a funny boy, always swinging around on his toys and coming over to say hello to have a chat while I was bumbling about sorting the pigs. While in his short 10 months or so here I never managed to tame him, in a way that made him more special. A few months ago it was concluded by one of our vets that he was actually blind and thats why he would scream so much at things, bite at random and could never figure out how to exit his carrier to get back into his clean cage.
I'm sorry little man, you deserved a much longer life than what you got. I already miss you loads
