Little gem lettuce?

Hi, can you feed little gem to your piggies, I have a right fussy pair of baby girls who seem to only eat peppers! Lol.. they were also eating carrots but have left them today too, as recommended by one of the helpful staff on here I am giving them peppers each day then trying one other veg at each meal , I’ve tried spinach, kale, Coriander, parsley, cucumber, carrot & like I say other than peppers not much being eaten my next try was going to be peppers with some little gem lettuce but one site on goggle says it’s a no no and another say it’s ok so I’m bit confused xx thank you

Thank you, find so much contradiction when it comes to info online when it comes to guniea pigs diets that I’m finding it easier just to ask on here when I know people actually have piggies thereselves! Xx

I’ve just been putting one single piece of veg in 3 times a day rather than a mix. (Overall probably amounts to less than 1cup each, every day). I do this to see what they like and also so that they’re getting regular treats as they’re settling in! So I might....

Cut up one celery stick for breakfast
Cucumber sticks for lunch
Broccoli for tea

They’ve also had carrot, Apple, Little Gem, blueberries. They don’t like orange pepper and strawberries.

Next week I might get kale etc and gradually
introduce a new veggie. Then I’ll do a mix and see how that goes.
