IMG_1716.webp Poor little Holly is really not having a good time.
In April she had a nasty hay poke to her left eye - requiring a hay dart to be removed from the eye itself and then treatment to cure the nasty ulcer to her cornea.
Next she had a URTI and was on ABs and nebuliser treatment.
Then after that she had a shocking colitis that made it touch and go whether she would survive. Then 2 weeks ago she lost her mother figure (my old lady Violet) and she went through a period of grief and pining.
Just when I thought we were back on an even keel this week I had to rush her to the emergency vets on Tuesday with another hay dart lodged in her eye - this time the right eye. And another ulcerated cornea.
And just this morning, while I was putting in her eye drops she weed on me and it was pink. I later got a urine sample from her and did a dipstick. it was showing as containing blood. So back to the vets - where she weed on everyone and was diagnosed with a UTI and given further antibiotics.
On the plus side - her eye is healing nicely!
This little bundle of fluff is certainly keeping me on my toes.

Goodness sounds like Holly is having quite a time. Glad her eye is healing nicely.

She is a little beauty.

Oh poor holly she's not having a lot of luck, then to be pining for her mum.
Hugs coming your way & loads of kisses for Holly.

That really is a run of bad luck. I hope things start improving from now and Holly can just enjoy her life with you and that you can have a more stressfree time.

awwww, so lovely seeing little Holly enjoying some grass time. She has the most yummy face you just want to kiss.

I do indeed spend rather a lot of time giving this special little girl nose kisses and chin and cheek rubs. She is an absolutely tiny fluff ball of mischief and fun. Just hope her luck is now on the up.
