ok so what you may not be bothered but i still wanted to share it! i got a new guinea pig a while ago and i just wanted to tell you guys how much she has improved, i want to tell her story......
lily ( also known as tiger lily ) was being badly treated by her previous owner who was desperat to get rid of her ( sad i know). i have two outher piggys ( max and jessie)
Picture023.jpg
max is the ginger and white one jessie the outher! i knew i should take on tiger lilly, so i did.

when i first took her home she was in a terrible state. i decided to slowy interduce her to the outhers and in the meen time keep her in my large in side cage and put her in the run during the day ( she had never seen grass before!).she was so scared ; squeking when i touched her and not eating or drinking. she never came out of her pigloo! one day while she was out in the run i saw her itching and i immeaditly took her to the vet. her fur was so matted ( she is a long haired piggy) that it was impossible to brush and she had such bad fleas all her fur had to be shaved ( exept fot her head)!

some times shes a right old drama queen and squeeks really loudy but the majority of the time shes so cute!

shes always running around now or being cuddled and only sleeps in her pigloo! she drinks and eats much more and her fur is coming back!
To be continued........

i hope you like her life story so far and please comment what you think about it

YAY for LILLY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
and MAX AND JESSIE YOU'RE GORGEOUS TOO XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

She is just so pretty. How awful her previous owners badly treated her. I am so glad she has found a loving home with you now.

Awww I'm so glad she has a loving home and now she can learn what love is :) Some people are so cruel it makes me :)>>> .. she is a beautiful, as are your other two xoxo

Wow! She's a little stunner. Hopefully her coat will grow back to it's previous luscious condition. Other two are sweeties too!

She is stunning and thanks for sharing your story with us, glad its had a happy ending

Lilly is gorgeous! She's the sheltie version of my Caron (who was also rescued from a very situation, too.)

If I were you, I would let Lilly move in with your couple full time. Acceptance has clearly happened and the humping will down as soon as your boy doesn't feel like he has to impress her every single time he meets her afresh; then it will be mainly the first few times she comes into season that can be stronger than normal.

As things are, dominance has to re-established every time they meet instead of the piggies being able to work through it all in one go - it takes several days to do so, so be patient and let them get on with it. There are no signs of any problems; all behaviour is very much in the mildest range. Lilly will take her cues from the other two piggies and will learn more quickly how to be a spoiled pet if she is with them all the time.

Ah bless her. She's a little stunner and I'm disgusted how some people treat their pets, but so glad she found a good and loving home with someone who puts her first. Well done on getting her healthy and happy again.x:(|)
