Hey all,

I'm trying to pop on and off the forum when I get time but mostly lurking about the Heath and illness section.

For those of you that read my original post Patch (who has been now officially named Murphy by his soon to be new owner) was dumped outside a park in London on a hot day in a box. He had a huge mass on his side which was restricting him from moving. He was brought into the vets. To cut a long story short I took the little guy on, got his surgery sorted and hes been at home recovering until he can be castrated.

He's doing fab, hes gained over 150g now and eating like a trooper. He loves his hay and has the biggest character I've had so far in a rescue/foster piggie. He literally craves attention. I cannot even get changed in my bedroom without him up at the bars asking for attention or more likely food. He loves his barley hoops for his weight gain, he loves the cat, he loves everything. Doing well with the odd very careful interaction with other piggies I am allowing him to gage his reaction to them (to see what he will be like with his to be wife's). He's a lovely lad and i'll be sad (but happy) to see him off to his new home in a few months.

His favorite hobby is to pull his hay rack down, empty out the hay and sleep inside it. (see photos below)

Here's some picture for all...

I love too hear about people taking on piggies like that! Such a kind hearted person! :D

Glad too hear he is doing well! He's a beauty!

You have done such an amazing thing for that little piggie!:D

He is beautiful! Well done for doing a fab job with him, lucky piggy :)

I am amazed at how well he looks. The growth that was removed was huge. It is a reflection on the care he has had that he is as well as his is now. Well done. It's also great to know he is going a good home now.

What a lovely little boy! Its so nice to see your kindness and effort towards him repaid with such a great recovery and a wonderful zest for life by the looks of things!
