It was only last year I adopted little Paddy from a local Pets at Home, He'd been left there by a family who's kids didn't really care anymore, was sort of a surprise finding him because we went in there just for catfood, needless to say me and my mum made a beeline to look at the Hamsters and baby guinea pigs. (They were cute o_o like imagine the cutest thing then triple it)

The lady in the store saw we were interested in the little pigs but when we mentioned my little Oscar (3ys Boar) was alone at home they decided to show us to the adoption area, we looked in the glass cabinet to see this happy face run up to the glass and wheek, lil' boy paddy was only too happy to get out of the cage and into our lives, "enough with the children's faces staring at me I want to go home with this lady" (He peed on my mother but she still loved him) long story short he came home with us same day we finished the weekly shop (forgot the catfood twice)

Little Paddy was pretty fat the day we got him and to be honest kind of stayed that way, as soon as we put him in his own pen our other pig Oscar immediately in the next cage was watching him, after a few days we decided to let them meet, it was a huge success right away and they immediately became friends, they shared food, their pigloo and even Oscar's pee corner. (He likes that spot a lot)

After Oscar had passed away Paddy was on his own once again, so we searched this forums for any possible adoption places for pigs, we met this lady in Windsor who we describe as the (The Cavy matriarch) set him up with an even bigger pig named Albert (He's a lot to love)

February 2nd, many happy months go by with this little character, he's practically trained himself, he pushes the door flap down, knows how to get from the kitchen to the living room and has seen many steven seagal films thank you to my dad leaving it on with them in their pen.

February 6th, my heart drops little Albert is panicking and squeaking in distress, little Pads isn't moving much or responding, I rush him to the vet and he's just barely responding, he's got the runs and is very poorly, in bits knowing he is in so much pain, the vet isn't sure whats wrong with him and gives him some painkillers to help his digestion and ease him tummy, that night he spends the night in a make shift pen at the foot of my bed, he makes it to the morning with antibiotics (the vet we went to had no space to keep him in which is disgraceful) he seems chirpy and happy, we go to the vet with him for his checkup and wait in room to see vet.

He stops moving in his box, he'd past away before we went in and my heart broke.

He was always so cheeky, making little chuttle noises at everyone that said hello, the gif is his first time in the garden since his adoption
