Oww! I just rescued a craigslist guinea pig, my 3rd ever piggy and she's elderly near the end sadly, but she had never had her nails done! They were curled under her feet and she was walking on them. We restrained her and cut them now they're nice and short she's walking on her feet again but they're now very sore and peeling is there anything I can do to ease. Her discomfort well she heals? Thanks

I'm not sure really. There may be some cream that may help but I can't offer any advise on what as I don't know myself. Could you post some pictures of her feet so we can see what we're dealing with :)

Can't get pics she's VERY skittish but there are little brown horns on all 4 ankles and her feet are a little red and it looks like a callous is peeling on the balls of all her feet she can get around fine it just looks sore I only had my other 2 piggies for a month so I really dont know what I'm doing

my gp feet were really red and peeling ( from sleeping in her own wee) we were advised to use bepanthan babies nappy rash cream it worked a treat and is 100% safe the redness went down after 2 days

It looks like the first one, what should I do? Thank you for your help

If you read the info contained in the link it explains what to do.
