Just want to leave this here as a review for what I believe is probably the best investment ever made.

We saw this toy in Pets at Home and didn't think much of it but bought it anyway hoping that the ladies might make some good use out of it. It comes with three levels, with the second I believe being the hardest because one and two can easily be completed by an accidental headbutt and it doesn't take much to figure out whereas level 2 requires them to actually pick up these knobs.

Now I didn't think pigs were smart enough to pick up things and move them with their mouths but how wrong I was. Daisy took some convincing and is now the only one out of the three who will pick up the knobs and deposit them then come and collect the nugget underneath (well that's if Rosie hasn't stolen it first).

I set up the game a few times yesterday and then on the third time Daisy just absently forced herself to pick them up again. Clearly it's exhausting work and I'm sure she slept very soundly last night.

If you have pigs like me who don't care about any new toy you've bought them and instead like to spend their time playing with newspaper this is a great investment for you. I only put it in when I'm supervising because there's some ample opportunity for toes to get squashed when they squabble over it so it's not a 24/7 toy. But it sure does get them thinking and it sure does tire them out.

Sidenote: the plastic knobs seem to make good things to throw at your friends when they get on your nerves, for the pigs that is...
