Liza has bald patches

my sow has some bald patches that I think may be the result of mites. I had an appointment, but they cancelled on me, I took her to the local pet shop so I could get something to soothe her, she had tried to bite me when I was poking around there to look. the lady put some ivermectin in her mouth, how will I know this is working and how fast will I see results?
 
Ivermectin given orally wont work unless it is repeated about 3 times over a few weeks O0
Your sow will need 2 more treatments and it does sound like mites :)

After the 2nd dosage of ivermectin youll see slight improvements with her hair
 
Do I just give it to her once a week for three weeks? I don't want to give too much.
