loft or no loft?

At the moment, I have a 2 x 3.5 bottom level and a 1 x 2 loft - for 2 piggies. In the loft is their hay bag, 2 food bowls and a corner toilet because they poo up there. I'm going to start putting their hay bag downstairs, but this got me thinking, do they need the loft? I know they lose a bit of space from the ramp going up there, so what do you think?

They'd still have the bowls and loo up there, but I just can't decide which would be better - not sure if it's entirely pointless them having it or not. They'll probably stop pooing up there so much if I move their hay

I think I will do. My boyfriend pointed out this morning that he sees them running up and down the ramp a lot and that they might miss it when it's gone so I think I'll keep an eye on them now the hay bag's downstairs and see how much they go up there. Their pellets are up there for now but if it's not in regular use then I'll move them too.
