About a month ago or less my two boars Cinnamon and Marble got into a bloody fight. Marble ended up having to go to the vet for his injury to be cleaned and get antibiotics. Since then I’ve split the cage in half with a border. They can still see each other through the cage walls (even though they chatter) and I still allow them to eat snacks with each other outside the cage as long as they’re supervised. I’m worried they might get lonely as a single guinea pig would. But I can’t afford other guinea pigs, bigger cage, more food + hay, and toys. Good news is that i am starting my new job today! So if you can recommend me anything I no longer have to worry about money. :) thank you for advice/info/suggestions.

If they can still interact through the bar then they should be able to get on with life and not feel lonely.

But, if you want, you could find a rescue that does boar dating and take them to choose a friend each that they can share their cage with.

I also wouldn’t put them together outside the cage, supervised or not. If can be quick as the snap of a finger.

Thank you for the advice! My mother also told me to stop putting them together even with me watching because the fight did happen so so quickly. They seem to do well when I put them on the floor for outside cage time they zoom and eat there veggies and ignore eachother lol. But I will watch out for that. Also I wish I could find a rescue but I live in a small town that doesn’t have popularity of piggies. I’ll still try though!

I'm learning a lot about piggies all the time. I have unsuccessful tried to bond my piggies twice . . . my fault 1st time and 2 time oh my not very pretty.
Hear general rule two piggies fight and age sex doesn't seem to matter then its a NO they will fight again . . .
I have my fighting buddys next to each other and they steal each others hay etc and rumble a little but it's a 100% NO can I allow them now to meet.

Sadly, no recommended rescues in your state; but your boy will be OK as long as you stop mixing them and they can become a bonded pair with each their own territory. We have got a fair number of members with 'can't live together and can't live apart' fallen-out boar pairs. ;)

I had the exact same issue! I tried bonding them the first time, failed. Second time, a Bloody fight :(( never again.
