One of my piggies has a slight cold and will be sleeping inside tonight (usually lives outside adjacent to his brother - they don’t share a cage but always sniff through bars and can’t live without each other). My question is, will the brother who is staying outside be okay for one night, I don’t want him to be worried or feel lonely even if it’s just the one night

Is there any way you could bring him into and house them next door to each other? Don't necessarily think it'd cause much harm but could disrupt the bond or lead one (or both) to wonder where the other is.

Also by cold do you mean sneezing? Perhaps just book a checkup to be sure it isn't something sinister. :)

If you can bring the brother inside to be next to his mate, that would be great.
