can anyone give me some advice please.. I have 2 long haired piggies and obviously this next week is going to be hot. Do I need to take some hair off and if so, how much? IS there any advice or something I have missed and need to do? Thank you

I used to do hair cuts for summer with Velvet. I'd thin out her quiff and trim it shorter.
Many on here do the same.
good luck with the hot weather!
Lots of ice bottles (I used to put inside a thick sock) help too.
Kisses for the piggies :love::love::love:

Daisy my long haired piggy, gets an all over short hair cut. I trimmed her coat short as any time it got slightly hot she would be panting. She is much happier now, though she still looks ok because she has curly hair. I don't do the best job, but you can always just let it grow out again for winter to have super smart piggies again.

Galaxy and nibbles do look gorgeous with their long hair and I don't want to cut it but if it keeps them cooler I shant hesitate. It certainly won't look good with my skills but as long as they'd be cooler. Thank you for your help

I'm wondering if Peanut needs trimming.... she's only about 4 months old. This is probably a stupid question, but will her hair grow back the same if I cut it?

I don't know, hopefully someone else can answer that. I'd be gutted if my boys didn't as they are quite simply gorgeous hehe
