Long Heat!

Our 4yo female has now been on heat & "rumble strutting" continually for nearly 3 weeks now! Normally it's just 2 days or so. Unfortunately for her, she lives with just 1 other female, so can't get satusfaction! Should we be worried about her?

I would recommend taking her to a cavy savvy vet, if it's been that long it could be a sign of ovarian problems like cysts.

Your poor other girly is probably a bit fed up of all those hormones is she?

I agree with @Cavy Kung-Fu - get a vet check.
I remember when my Jemimah was showing similar behaviour the vet said that it could be ovarian cysts, fortunately things settled and it was just she had very strong seasons as a young piggy.
