HI,

Does anyone know where I can get fleeces for my new cage that are about 200cm + long?

The ones I have at the moment just about fit lengthways to tuck between the bars of my 120cm cages, and this week I am getting the liberta 150cm cage delivered and I need fleeces long enough to fit?

Thanks in advance:))

we got most of ours off ebay they are a set width (1.5m) but you can get whatever length you want just ask them to cut to what size you need :)

Thats a good idea, ordering them in lengths.

The ones I have atm have stitching around the edges, I suppose this isn't needed as fleece doesn't fray?

yes because some of the cages are quite long or if a C&C cage they can be any lenght you want

Some of our fleeces have stitching round the edges but the ones off ebay don't and we have had no problems with them

I get my fleece from a meterial shop you can have as much as you want then. Its £3.50 a metre or if its patterned its £7.50.

Wow, that's a great price! I looked in the 2 materials shops we have here and plain fleece is £8.99 a metre and patterned is £10.99. :( I've bought some by the metre online before but it's usually at least £6 a metre for plain fleece. You have a good shop there. :)

I get mine by the metre from Fabric Land. They had a huge roll of cream fleece with black paw prints which they were selling as seconds (I couldn't see anything wrong with it myself) for £2.50 a metre. Not a great colour for lining their house but it will make some lovely cozies! Plain is usually £3.99 and patterned £4.99
