Hi, my 3 year old has lost a bottom tooth and now one of the top ones is growing and I would like some advice on whether to get it trimmed at the vets. Shes still eating ok but it seems to be causing her a little trouble...I.e. It seems to take longer to eat as she needs to get the food in the right position! Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Yes if you suspect that teeth are overgrown, get them trimmed. Do you have a vet who knows what they are doing? Check out the recommended vets or ask for one of our members near you for a recommendation. Most vets are not cavy savvy so you may need to travel.

Thank you for your advice......Sandy went to my vets today and had it clipped....she was as good as gold.....and now has a new lease of life munching everything in sight!
