Is her nails were so long they hurt her, I cut them as short is I could but the quick is long and is also curled under, so do you have any ideas to help the quick move back fast? Thx!

Glynis is quite right - regular trimming is the way to sort out long nails.

The quick will recede from the end of the trimmed nail and you should be able to trim back again after a few days. If you do clip the end of the quick and it bleeds hold a Q-tip against the nail applying pressure and this should stop it.
