i've heard reading is good for that honey.
read through some of the stickys and I'm sure you'll learn alot about guinea pigs to impress your friend, and more importantly, to help you look after your guinea pigs

they look lovely whatever breed they are

Your white one looks like a rex and your other one is probably a black dutch smooth if she has a black bottom.

However, I strongly recommend that you read up on guinea pig care like a proper diet, so you can make your guinea pigs as happy as possible!

How big is their cage? They need 2x4 ft ground space to have room to run around. Most shops still sell cages that are far too small.

the cage is huge I'm not shure of the exact mesurment though and your they did try to sell me a small cage but i said no and got the largest cage they had
i have read the books but i cant tell by the pics what breed they are and by the way his bottom isnt black its light brown pow-pow
