Look At The Joy On Their Little Faces

Ha - I feel your pain. That is a brilliant photo.
Mine looked exactly like this (except huddled inside a box) for the first few grass times.
But do stick with it. Today we had a break through on the lawn, and 2.5 out of 3 guinea pigs emerged and were seen to be eating grass :yahoo:
The girls even ran around, and I saw one tiny little popcorn :D

To be fair, after about 15 minutes of standing stock still, they did start to nibble on the grass and then seemed quite happy until I stood up to get the camera, which obviously is the most terrifying thing EVER! Shadow crosses run, freeze.......

Mine had their first outside run yesterday, Tilly was ok, but Ginger spent all the time in the inside bit. Took them out again today and they were both out and about enjoying the grass, I took some of the inside cage bits and put them outside with them today and I think that made all the difference!

You can't see it but they had their favourite cage bits in there too. Still hated it.

My girls are going out tomorrow. This will be mabel's first time on grass. I wonder if she will look as thrilled!

How did you get on?

My pair are looking MUCH happier just now. I thought Timmy had dropped dead but turned out he was just having a little nap in the open. First time he has done that! He keeps wandering about though waving his little empty testicles, showing it who is boss. Bless him. He'd be so manly if he hadn't been de-manned.

Mabel was very brave! And she followed Mollie's example of stuffing her face with grass. I think it was safe to say it was a success

We had our 1st grass time of the year today too! Sid was a bit sceptical and kept close to elvis. Didn't get any piccies of the Bears :mal:- which is a shame as it was they're first grass time EVER! but it's safe to say when belle realised the whole floor was food, it was the best day ever:yahoo:
