But I don't care! The rest can wait...

As you can see Pebbles managed it first, well there was food involved!

Wilma unfortunately hasn't worked it out yet, I put her up but she did get down herself, so I suppose it will take time, But once all 3 are confident going up and down. I will no longer be giving them hay downstairs... so to keep my fleecs hay free.

Fred has 100% got it... Pebbles has been up twice and Wilma... hopefully soon!

Once they get used to it they will be charging up and down it at top speed. Well done you..

Well done you! That's absolutely brilliant!

She'll get it - you wait and see, 2 or 3 days and they will all be whizzing up and down like mad.

Looks great. I'm sure they'll all get the hang of it quickly. Well worth the effort and back pain- hope they all give you good cuddles to say thank you.
I'm just laying out my c & c cage and am debating making a hay loft. How did you bend your mesh squares for the ramp in the end?

Fred already is :))... Once they all get it, it is fine for me just to give hay up there? I'm hoping it may keep my fleece hay free but doubt it! :))

oh that looks great and I'm pleased Fred has mastered it :)
Frankkie and Finlay have a hay loft in their cage and they love running up and down it so I'm definately going to attempt to make one for Mac and Rascal in their cage

Oooh, it does look fantastic!

Well done, were the grids easy enough to bend in the end?

Yes definitely. That's what I do for the ones in the kitcheIt does keep it better but not free of hay completely. I give all food on one floor only in each cage.

I bent the mesh ones over my knee to make an arch then stood on them, they were initially tough, but me being the strong person I am, I managed it with my full body weight :))!

Glad I did, doesn't take up much floor place the ramp and gives them 3 extra grids space. Fred was showing his appreciation, by popcorning like mad...

I helped Wilma up so she is up with the other 3 I don't feel so bad, when she was downstairs on her own I felt rotten :)!

Cool, thats a good plan I'm just going to feed pellets and veggies downstairs, so they have to move from it occasionally!

Hope you back isn't as sore as mine :))!

lol, its sore anyway, now i'm walking about after laying down for nearly 4 weeks! lol, think my muscles are wasting away....shame its not the fat..,i've put on almost a stone!8... that will teach me for having take aways in bed!

can't wait to start, OH is off too, so he can help! :))

Great setup, they'll be charging around all over the place and having a great time.

where did you get your grids from? they are great! i love their set up. but could you add another grid to the ramp so it's not so steep perhaps?xxxxxx

Ooh looks fab! Love Fred shoving his way upstairs! :(|)

Wilma will catch on. Willow was slower than Pippa in figuring out the ramp in their hutch. Now she's the first one up there! ;)

I think my piggies would disagree it's really not all that steep and there isn't enough room for another grid because then they wouldn't be able to get on it! Lisa got me my grids from Costco :)! I used the mesh ones for the hay loft!

All piggies, know how to use it now... and everyone has been charging up and down including Wilma! I put carpet on the grids to make it easier for them :)!

I used my knee to make the bend and then stood on them and they bended quite nicely, it took me a while to work it out, bit slow, but you will need to use the mesh ones, they bend easier and they have grooves on the inside it's easier to bend them up if you follow me, but you will get it, it makes sense to bend them in, if I can work it out anyone can :)).

My dad was rather impressed cause last time we tried he couldn't bend them, but I managed :))! I think my dad was impressed :))!

I love the idea of the hay loft, I wanna live up there and Fred has been popcorning all night, so clearly he loves it too!

Was so funny making it I still had the piggies in there cage and everyone was coming up for a nose... if only they could speak "What are you doing person who feeds us?"" :))

I'm so proud :))!

way cool :) and glad to see the trio appreciate all your hard work lol x
