Well... Me... The piggies... Same difference :))

Check out the "hay box" he has made to fit inside the bedroom area. More than one door for when Willow is having a grump. Nice and spacious with a slide top to maximise space for hay.

Fitting inside the bedroom area will mean that it provides additional insulation and stop the hay being spread out so much so will keep them warmer in the winter months.

When do I mention I'd like a second one? :))

I was going to but have nothing to line it with and eager to use it. I was wondering whether the clear sticky plastic you use to cover maps/books with or whether to get some of the waterproof table cloth material/lino. What would you use?

I might use it tomorrow and then give it a good clean and line it next week
 
That is really nice, what a useful OH you have. Lino is good for lining that sort of thing as others have said. If you don't have an off cut you can get the stick on tiles very cheaply in places like The Range or B&M Bargains.

I’d be worried mine would try and eat clear plastic or tablecloth material. The babies in particular are always chewing at anything newI put in!
What size is it and is it actually for them to sleep in with their hay?.. Questions questions!

It's just slightly bigger than 50cm x 40cm x 40cm. My piggies don't have hay racks as most of my previous piggies have loved to dive in so yes the plan is they will sleep in there too :)
 
What an amazingly thoughtful gift. And what a handy OH you have there, Kelly. He’s definitely a keeper :lol!:
