Bella has grown up with guinea pigs and is fantastic around them but we never leave them unsupervised not even for a second we wer sat with them. The guinea pigs are not scared of her and cuddle up to her which she doesnt mind. She fell in love with my oldest guinea pig the day we brought her home and we think she thinks there her babies and she has been known to groom them. My other cat doesnt cuddle with them but does lie down and eat veg with them which is very bizarre.

You must have a friendly cat i thought it would attack guinea pigs and think their mice or something

What gorgeous cats. Its funny but when animals grow up together they tend to tolerate one another. They are reall sweet pics, those peruvians melt my heart! :)

They are really good piccies! I don't have a kitty anymore, but all the cats I have had were brutal murderers! He must be a real softy. :smitten:

Bless,
I can not let Corey Cat and Honkey be together, we used to live in the middle of nowhere and Corey Cat used to bring me home presants from the neighbours barn, the neighbours were happy after a year they said that their horse, cow feed was not being eaten by mice, rats etc, we used to also find dead rabbits etc..
One morning Kyle was going out to the tractor and he shout, Kyle had done an oil change and left the used oil in a bowl under the hedge. Outside our door was a dead bird covered in oil and a Corey Cat who was also covered in used oil, myself, Kyle and our neighbours used everything we could think of to get the oil of him, when we had got most the oil of he looked like a mini fox. The vet said just leave him, he would get the rest of himself. I had to take pictures of Corey Cat looking like a foxy locksey.

My 15 year old puss is also wonderful around the piggies. If I ever have a piggy that is unwell Charley takes over "grooming" duty and snuggles up with them. She has never been one to catch anything, in fact she is frightened of the frogs up by our pond ;D. In her youth she did do the odd bit of stalking out birds, but she has never caught a thing - might have something to do with the fact that she is bright ginger and white ;D ;D.

Lovely cat and piggies by the way.

Just found a piccie of Charley on "piggy watch" - fat lot of good she is as a lookout ! ;D ;D

When we were at home our cat Tommy used to undo their cage and climb in and snuggle up them, my mums cat which was wild as anything was scared of my piggies

:smitten: Cats and pigs are my FAVE! :smitten:

O0 Such cute pictures. O0

:smitten: I thought my cats were extremely good with my pigs until i read/saw that :smitten:

One of our cats love to go anywhere the pigs have been.

When the pigs are out and I forget to shut the hutch door she likes to go to sleep inside it.
Maybe its just comfy for her, but I still think its cute. :smitten:

My cats love getting into my guinea pigs hutches, maybe its the smell. I try not to have them in the guinea pigs room while I'm cleaning them out because they get in the way so iv had to put a big scratching post outside the door for them which they sit on and cry.
