Isn't he cute! Couldn't resist, been after a knitted piggie for a while! :))x)
 
I love that type, they never get ill and are really cheap to keep, plus if the owners get board of them or can't keep them anymore, us rescues can fit alot more in because I don't think they need quite as much cage space?

:)) so very true! I think this is the type my OH would prefer me to have rolleyes buuuuut, there is no wheeking or popcorning or sleeping in cute fleecy beds or chicken legs or waggling ears or piggie lips or rummaging in hay etc etc etc!

Yup! He will be popped into the post tomorrow to come to his new home :)) I haven't told my OH yet, i'm hoping he doesn't notice him sitting on my chest of drawers :x (i'm meant to be saving for a holiday...rolleyes)

I had to do a double take! At first glance, I thought that was real:)) Very cute!

Ooooh i haven't thought of a name yet! Will do when i see him in the flesh! :)) I feel he looks like a boar, plus we already have two sows here so we need a boar in the house!

I know Farquhar, isn't it good! I love knitted things so he stole my heart!
 
I had a hamster for 2+ year's called Evie and i only found out he was actually Stevie a month before he had to be PTS due to old age he was so lovely too and didn't mind being called Evie lol

Aww well at least Evie sounds like Stevie :)), sorry to hear he's no longer around :( I had a hammy called Reginald who is now at the bridge (he lived until 3 1/2 years bless him, he really was an OAP!)

Wow i'm impressed, I got Stevie and Harvey at the same time stevie was 2yr 4m and Harvey PTS last week 2yr 6months and i thought that was good, I want another syrian8...


Seriously thinking about knitting my herd i can knit and crochet a fair bit just need a pattern..... hmmm google

i would love a knitted guinea pig for when i move back into halls and only get to see my piggies on the weekend.
i would finally be able to get a proper herd -c
 
Yeah, when I first looked at it I thought "what kind of guinea pig is that? I didn't know there where guinea pigs with braids in their hair... Oh wait... it's not real"

Oh there must be patterns on google somewhere! Post some pigtures if you make one! :))
 
I finally managed to get to the post office today to collect my piggie! He is really rather cute :)) definitely a boar ;) and will be named Wilfred! He has cheered me up which I certainly needed on this very sad day. Dottie seems to have taken a liking to him though...i really need to get her and little cuddly teddy for the cage:)
