We lost one of our girls on Friday :-( Muffin and Crumble are sisters so had been together since birth, but sadly Crumble succumbed to bladder sludge.

Muffin is actually coping very well - she's eating and drinking fine, and just going about her daily business as normal. But we are looking to get her a companion so she has company during the day whilst we're in work.

We're looking for a neutered boar of around 3 years old, but not sure how to begin. There don't seem to be many rescues where we are (North Wales/Chester area) - does anyone have any tips?

Thank you.

So sorry you lost Crumble x I know it sounds bad but you could look at advertisements sometimes people are in the same position as you and are looking for their piggy to find a friend. Or you could take a longer trip to a rescue- I realise they aren't close and find a boar

Sorry for your loss, i just saw your RB post.

Pleased little Muffin is doing okay. How old is she?

She's 3 and a bit, so young enough to hopefully meet someone new.

We've maybe found a couple of potential rescues - Cavy Haven in Winsford which is 45 mins away, and The Potteries in Stoke on Trent which is an hour away. Not ideal distances but there isn't much hope of finding a rescue piggy any nearer!

Please contact Helen at the Potteries GPR. They have a neutered boy - Dave
