Hi i'm Harveypop ( he was my lovely pride in joy but lost him over 2 years ago now - still can't bring myself to replace him yet. ) Just join the forum today as was looking to find a source to buy ivomec from and i'm finding very difficult. My friend has just bought her two daughters a pair of rex brothers, who are lovely but thinks they are scratching a lot. Went up and checked them today and don't appear to have any static or running lice. Coates seem to be slightly flaky but nothing unusual. I'm going back next week to bath them. Would also like to start them on ivomec but it has been along time snce I have had to buy it. I use to buy it from a farm suppliers ? To let you all understand I needed it regulary as I use to have 72 guinea pigs which I started collecting about 10 years ago and harveypop and his son harry were my last remaining piggies. Now piggless but have a 18mth old wee boy who keeps me busy instead but when I handled my friends piggies at all came flooding back. If anybody could help with this I would be vey grateful as vet not keen to give it to me. Been having a look at all the fabby photos and I'm very tempted to start collecting again ! I need some self control

Thanks piggie lovers xx:)

I'm not sure to be honest but wow 72?! were they all girls? We are a pro rescue forum so don't agree with breeding but if you wanted to adopt 72 from rescues around the country that'd be ace!:(|) Got any pigtures?x

The collection started from but 1 little boy piggie from a pet shop and not long after we had got him settled in he then produced 6 babies ! What a shock. And she was a fantastic mum. We had a few litters from some of our piggies, but mainly picked them all up from trailing round all different pet shops and pig shows. We once bought a piggie that had ruttling because we knew that he probably wouldn't make the journey back home with the breeder. We had him for just over a year ( chancealot ) and he needed inhalation therapy every morning and massage to loosen up all the stuff in his lungs and he loved get it done. So very nervous about thinking about getting another piggie as they are very addictive ! I will need to dig out all my old photos and scan them in to try and show some of the wonderful piggies I had xx
