Looking for advice

Everyone,
Has anyone found this on a pee pad? My male is only on pee pads for out side cage play. The first time I saw it, took a urine and he was put on meds. Then he got better. Put on Dr. Sherwoods cranberry supplement, as he had some sludge spots. Sludge spots have disappeared, but then this. Anyone else have this experience?

Hello and welcome to the forum. I’m sorry your piggy is poorly. I’d pop along to the vets. Maybe they need a longer course of treatment. Good luck. I hope it clears up quickly.

What meds was he put on?

A cranberry supplement will not help him. Cranberry is not effective in Guinea pigs with UTIs.

Sludge is caused by an issue in the calcium intake in the diet.

Hi everyone,
I want to thank everyone for their help. Guess what?.... it wasn't blood! I had him in his pen and was picking up his hut and toys and saw the "blood " again.. so I took another picture. Picked his hut up to discover the red came from his hut..

All , hope everyone is great. What is the best ear thermometer to use ? My exotic vet said to get an ear one. Thank you
