Losing a pig

Hello! This morning I woke up to find my guinea pig had taken its last breath. This was very hard for me because she was my first pet. I still have another guinea pig and she seems fine but I don’t know what fine is. Do you guys have any coping strategies for me and my piggy? Anything is appreciated!

Your surviving piggy will grieve but within a day or so will get on with the business of surviving.
She will need a companion though and she will be ready before you are.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve
