I have a guinea pig who is 6-7yrs old and as been eatting etc but today i noticed he is getting very thin bless him.Is there any food i can give to maybe support his weight a bit more etc

like what's his likes dislikes, is he pooping properly?
his habits?

At this age 6-7 they slow down, but you can still keep them active and eating and enjoying life so i'm hoping a few of our people who have the older ones can help you x
I had a boy who got to over 6yrs i had to help him poop tho......his diet was only restricted cause of toofie probs so i'm of now help, sorry
I do know whee have people who can help, please just hang on and see what happens thru the day as people wake up and post

btw are you syringe feeding? or mushing up his pellets with warm water that is cooled down? this another good way to feed them xx

He is part of a trio all around same age they came from rspca rescue and was adult when i homed them over 4yrs ago.
They are on pellets with selection of veg daily as well as constant fresh hay they also get herbie treats and herbage etc.
Never been to vets with illness no sneezing discharge pooing plenty and no blood or anything like that.
He as got a case of lice at the minute and I'm waiting for GG lice and easy to come.But they are out door pigs ( hutch is in shed) and its far too cold so i have used inverctim (think i spelt that wrongly).
But he as begun to lose weight slowly and increased food but he still looks thin.
