today we said good bye to Whinny the sweetest pig. I miss her so much already and so does her sister Wiley. Whinny was seven and had recently been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that the vet believed had spread to her lungs. As of Monday night the vet did not feel she was in pain. Whinny took a quick turn for the worst and passed away this morning. I will always miss her squeak and her loving personality. Rest In Peace Whinny pig.

So sorry. It's heartbreaking to lose our precious babies. All the love and sweet memories are worth it though, I don't know what I would do without my little ones. I hope your hurt gets a little bit better soon, though I know it takes a long time, and never completely heals.

I'm so sorry that you have lost your old lady. Sounds like she had a great life with you and she had reached a great age. The loss is no easier to bear when they are older than when they are younger, but at least you knew what was wrong with her (other than aging). Hugs to you and Wiley. Popcorn free Whinny pig x

I'm so sorry whinny passed away,it really breaks your heart, when they pass away. You must have been an excellent piggy slave for her to get to the good age of 7, Hugs & :luv: coming your way.
Sleep tight little one,
Popcorn free over the rainbow bridge.

hugs from me, too... but don't forget you gave her such a great long life...

I am really sorry you have lost your beautiful piggy. She had the most perfect wonderful life with you, try and remember that. Huge hugs to you xx

Sleep well little one

RIP Whinny

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and words. I'm glad to have had so long with little Whinny and thankful her suffering was minimal. hopefully Wiley will be getting another sister tomorrow so she is not so sad. No one can replace Whinny but another pig will lift spirits. Recently the humane society took on over 60 pigs from a situation that got out of hand and we will be giving one of the piggies a new home.

I am sorry for your loss and it sounds like Whinny had a very long and wonderful life with you.
And I am sure that she is thrilled to have opened your hearts to another piggiy who needs a loving home.
