lost 2 piggies in 24 hrs :(

yesterday morning i found my beloved poppy ( cream & buff cornet), my diva & queen of the shed dead in her cage, she had suffered a heartattack, she was just 3 yrs old but had come to me 11m ago from a afwell home, i am numb , she was my speacail girl :'( then today while cleaning the hutches we found peanut 2yr old boar (buff self) fitting we called my vet but he died in my arms b4 we got there :'( its a terrible shock as they were both really young & 100% healthy up till the time of death , its one reason i some times say i wont take in rescues , it breaks me in two to get so much progress with scared shy piggies into cuddly chatty piggies & then to lose them :'(
but then i know at least they were loved & cherrished & will be missed & remeberd...
feeling really empty now ...
 
oh i'm so sorry to hear of your losses :'(
it must be such a terrible shock to you and my thoughts are with you at this sad time. I know it hurts so much losing a pig and it does make you question why you have them when they die but just think of the lovely life they had with you that they wouldn't have if you hadn't rescued them.

I'm sorry for your loss ,I know how you feel,we lost 2 in two weeks...and it hurts :'(
 
So sorry to hear this :( It sounds like you did a wonderful job saving these little piggies and i bet they thank you for it.

I know how much of a shock it is to find 2 dead so close together I did last month first jasper then his run mate romeo i was so upset and worried myself sick something was catching, but despite losing 5 in a month one PTS and the others unexpected like you, I think its the time of the year I really do I half expect it in oct I get worried and every time it happens, God bless your 2 little ones at least they are together, and at least they got lots of loving from you hugs to you sweetheart
 
Thanks guys that really does mean alot , ive over 65 piggies at the moment wot with a sudden intake of pregnate sows, but it doesnt stop the hurt , i lost 2 earlier this year & they now all have a specail place in the garden my daughter & son are buying me a bench for xmas with a little plaque to commerate them all (1 rabbit & a chinchilla also) these guys HELP me through each day , i am so lucky to have had them even for a short time :-*
 
I am so sorry bramble... I lost two piggies within two or three weeks and that was bad enouhg, but two in one day? I would be so heartbroken :(

Just remember that you gave them all you could, and made their life worth living..
they couldnt have died in a nicer place than with you.

Sorry to hear that you lost 2 piggies, it's hard enough when we loose one :(
