Hi there everyone.

I had planned to come on this evening and introduce myself as I am new to the forum. Unfortunately its with bad news and I applogise if I'm posting in the wrong place.

Last Saturday we got Zeus and Hades, both 7 weeks old and lovely little guys. They seemed to settle in to their new home really well, eating, playing, snuggling in at cuddle time. They've both been fabby. Just went to give them their dinner and Hades has passed away. There's no sign of injury and he was fine an hour ago, eating his hay happliy. I've no idea whats happened. Zeus is now very skittish although he is still eating and drinking. My 4 year old son is sat on the couch in tears and I feel like joining him. We have only had the boys a week but Hades was so cuddly and cute :-(
 
Oh no.....I am so sorry to hear your terrible news - how devastating for you and your son........RIP Hades.......

Oh dear8... firstly, let me stress it's nobody's fault, it's just one of those things that happen.. What a terrible start you've had, give your other piggy lots of attention, and this maybe a bit soon to think about, but maybe consider finding him a friend asap, to help him and your son get over the shock.. sending you hugs ((((((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))))) XX
 
Awwww.... I'm so sorry! It's so hard to lose a pet. It sounds like he may have had some kind of underlying issue- it wasn't your fault! ((HUGS))!
 
I'm so sorry to hear about Hades. Sometimes these things just happen, there's not explanation.

Really sorry again for you and your son :(

oh that is so very sad, i am so sorry, its way to young to be taken away.
