i think it would be best if you could continue this topic on your own thread, so this one can stay focused on the original poster (:
If the person posting is the person in the photo she is maybe too young to navigate the site? I'd rather she could still keep contact with us to try to find the pig

The original poster was 9 months ago. It would be great to get feedback, but that's not an active search.

@Catflap good luck and do let us know if you find your piggy ....

Oh heck I don’t think I’d leave the garden until she came back out. I know that feeling when your heart is in your throat and can’t breath because of something your pig has done
I know exactly what you mean!
When I was a student I had 2 guinea pigs and made a basic run out of cardboard boxes so they could have some time out on the grass. I only put them out when we were also out in the garden but one time I went inside to go to the toilet and when I came back out, Harry must have jumped over the top of the run!

I went into mass panic and called my house mates to run out and help me in my frantic search of the garden. Luckily we found him fairly quickly in a bush by the house but I still remember the feeling now when I looked in the run and he was gone. Harry and Tom - they were such characters. They had a cage in the house but most of the time we let them run around on the floor in the lounge. They used to do these galloping circuits from behind the sofa and under the TV! When friends came round we always said, be careful not to step on the guinea pigs 🤣

I really hope you find your pig soon @Catflap I guess you've already been round your neighbours?

Sending you hugs. I can't say any more than has been posted, but please give your remaining piggy lots of love. My heart goes out to you and the bereaved piggy. x

I hope you find your little piggie. does your piggie have a cage mate that is now alone or was he part of a herd?

Have you tried playing a recording of guinea pig noises in the garden, as this has helped other people on the forum in the past who have lost guinea pigs? In this thread they found a youtube video of guinea pigs making happy noises and they played it loud in their garden and their piggy came back: Lost Guinea Pig

Phew!I’m very pleased that you found your piggie! She looks absolutely adorable!
