Last night around 4 am, my Guinea Pig started making many sounds, a high pictched sound, a kind of whimper and a squeak, she didn’t stop after I held her or replaced her food. Anyone know why she is doing this and how to make it stop?

@Connor123 It's impossible for us to know for sure what's causing it. My first guess would be a sign of pain during urination but that tends to stop when you pick them up.

I can only recommend a vet visit for a checkup really.

She was doing it for an hour so I’m not sure what it was, I noticed she was out of food, so I gave her some new food, she still had hay though. That distracted her for a while. Thank you for the help.

I agree with @Jaycey
A vet check is always a good idea if you are concerned- it rules out a medical condition at best.

Is she lonely?
Guinea pigs are social animals and should not be kept alone.
You only talk about 1 piggy - apologies if I misread this.

Yea, me and my family talked it out and we’re on our way to the pet store to get another piggy =D

Sounds good. Looking forward to hearing all about your piggies and seeing pictures
My piggy was instantly happy! They were talking and we’re playing. I just got them settled in and I will you more about it with picture tomorrow. I will let them get used to each other today. I will check on them later tonight
