I couldn't believe it this evening, I was just putting my dd to bed, (it was 6.15) and I heard dimple chatting like mad-kind of guinea pig shouting I guess! I was so scaried to open the door, and look inside, I expected to see blood everywhere, or him stuck or something, no...he was looking at me, he wanted his veggies, normally he gets them at 5 but I'd been a bit late, and he was complaining, I've never such loud wheeking before!
Dimple is doing so well, I can pick him up now without him running away, and he likes t sit as close he the cage as possible to me in the evenings when I am working. He loves his vegs. I've got some stuff on the way from pampered piggies-hopefully he will enjoy them. Just one thing, he has one tooth longer than the other, I've order some willow balls and sticks for him to chew, will is tooth go back to the right size then, or will I have to get it trimmed by the vets, is it a serious problem, I've only had him 3 weeks, and the vet checked him over, and said nothing about it then.
Thanks for reading all

My pig Max would hear me coming up the stairs and start wheeking loudly. If I walked in and ignored him, he was bite the wire on his cage then slide his teeth down so it made this annoying sound. He was sooo bad. He also would hear me downstairs and think it was time for him to eat and squeal loudly high pitched squeals at me til I came and tended to him.

i was just thinking about you and dimples this week and wondering how you were going. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: how is dimple and OH? are they in love yet? :smitten: i would suggest taking him to the vet to have the teeth looked at to be on the safe side as if left unchecked some teeth can continue to grow into the brain and head, and grow crooked and cost more to fix than a simple trim. if dimples is dribbling when he is eating or like mostmen have bad breath or is eating less. then his teeth are definately bothering him. i would get him vet checked to play it safe. glad dimples is settling in, you wait till you go to the fridge or rustle a plastic bag who'll hear wheeking. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: good luck with dimples. hugs and cuddles from us in oz :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: girls send :-* :-* :-*

I am so happy to hear that you and Dimples are getting on really well. Yes, I would definitely be taking him back to the vets to get his teeth checked.

you know, my piggie does the exact same thing, if I'm in the animal room getting the rats and rabbits food ready and his isnt getting ready fast enough he chews the bars and makes the most annoying noise! ::)
