The painkiller must have been helping Lottie because shes eating more and she gained weight! Shes got quite a little tummy now just like her sister Bonnie and its lovely to see.

She still wont eat carrot-bites it and spits it out so I can only think she doesnt like carrot.

Hopefully whatever pain she was feeling has eased, so because things are looking better we have to reduce the dose of her painkiller from tomorrow.

Its been quite a couple of weeks with the expense of vets from having to take Lottie and snowball so I hope thats it for quite a while now!

Whoops-I mean Lotties gaining weight!

Good news - keep it up Lottie, love to snowball too.

This is wonderful to hear. Do not worry about her not liking carrot. My piggies do not either.:)

Can they still get enough vitamin c from other vegies and fruit?
I always though carrot was the best thing for it.

If they dont like carrot have you tried feeding them red pepper? I'm sure this is meant to have more vitamin C in it than carrot :) xx

Great news!

Carrot is very high in vitamin A ((which can build up in the liver), but peppers of any colour, broccoli and parsley are the ones with the high vitamin C.

Here is a veg and fruit chart; you can set it to list all the veg they can eat according to their vitamin C content:
