So 3 weeks ago i got my 3 little girls. I was sure little Peaches was going to be a good lap piggy. She just seemed naturally so confidant and chilled out with people - despite being just 6weeks old.

Well tonight I had all three on me eating cabbage, when they were finished peaches snuggled down and went to sleep with me stroking her (even had her little back footsies stuck out behind her - so cute :luv: ).

Amber just seems to think I'm a brilliant climbing frame and is becoming super inquisitive. Oh and to see her dash round the hutch is amazing - I've never seen such a speedy piggy. Definitely little miss active.

Rosie was a little less sure but is slowly getting used to me with cabbage bribes. She's quite a nervous piggy on the whole, despite being the biggest of the 3.

Sounds like they are really coming along well considering the short time. My first 2 boys were very young so acclimated quickly. But the last 2 I got from the shelter at 2.5 years of age took me 6 months to stop being afraid.

Sounds like they're doing great! It's interesting the range of personalities you get... no two alike!

Boars gust sit there saying feed me :vom:but sows are so interesting , you can never predict what they will do next :box:

I had a rescue bunny who took ages to come round (he was a companion for my girl bun after she lost her companion. Obviously both were neutered.) But he was so terrified when he first came. In the end he was the cuddliest bunny you could ever meet - he'd even lick you when you stroked him. It is lovely when you see their transformation from terrified of people to realising that actually the people who've got them now will love them, feed them and care for them and are nice.

Tbh Rosie is more what I'd expected when I decided to get Guinea Pigs. Amber has really surprised me. But with Peaches as soon as I held her I just got the feeling that she would be a superb lap piggy in no time at all.

It really is when they are all siblings yet so different. I'm wondering what Rosie's personality will be like when she gets more confidence around me.
