:0 Barney has sadly been PTS. He went down hill very quickly and after many trips back and forward to the vets, his body gave up. We have been coming downstairs to him messing everywhere and the poor soul was so fed up. We are devastated8... Hubby said he looked up at him as if to say it's okay8...

RIP Barney we love you and miss you so much, run free with Henry (our cat who passed away in 2002) x
 
I am so sorry for you! It is such a heartbreaking decision to spare you beloved any further suffering.

You have fought a big battle and tried to do your very best for Barney. He went with your love.

I am so sorry for your lost of Barney, from the sounds of it he knew he was loved and that you did everything for him. It also sounds like Barney was saying his goodbyes, he will be forever in your hearts and you have many wonderful memories. RIP Barney. Big hugs for you both.:0
 
Thank you everyone.

Its so strange not having him here, walking into the door and not to be greeted by him. Tigger (our cat) is wandering around:( our other cat went missing in the summer, and Tigger is acting the same, he has been through so much!

Feeling okay, I know it was the best thing, and he was so loved and spoilt rotten! The guinea pigs and tigger are probably telling me to go away now lol as I am spending so much time with them to keep busy!

Yes :0 Barney is my avatar. I was going to change it last week, but can't now:(

My husband really surprised me as he was crying so much, I felt myself comforting him or we weren't going to get anywhere. I don't remember when he last cried in the 13 years we have been together! I am so glad he was there for Barney
